May 28th and 29th was a warm and dry Bank Holiday weekend and The Pantiles was ‘decorated’ with beautiful things. Exhibitors both local and from further afield put on marvellous displays all keen to help visitors to the Show brighten their bedrooms, liven their living rooms and pep up their parlours.
It was the perfect place to find interior design inspiration for the home or to track down that special piece of furniture you had been hunting for. The event celebrated the style of the town and showed a great range of different options to add a bit of flair to your home.
For those that love decorating their homes then The Pantiles was the place to be. And for those that need a little more motivation there were plenty of ideas for that interior design project you’d been putting off. Stalls were set out with vintage gems, unique furniture and plenty of beautiful accessories in order to enhance your living space.
Exhibitors included Clare from ‘Blooming Marvellous Floral Designs’, a garden-inspired florist with a variety of basket and bouquet creations to brighten up the home, and Diana from ‘Gardener & Cook’ demonstrating a number of garden and homeware items, as well as offering home textiles, glass and ceramics, and other giftware.
Those who were searching for something a little more unusual spent time with Michelle of Twisted Silver Studio. Michelle uses cutlery (yes, knives and forks and suchlike) to make exciting jewellery; Cuff links and rings, bracelets and bangles. She also turns her hand to making lamps from, well, anything. Cocktail shakers, vintage carpenters’ planes.
Other items for sale or on display included pictures, china and textiles and other collectables, including African metal artwork and some beautiful antique items. There were handmade crafts and toys, clothing and linens, and from Lou Lou Bella a range of soaps, salts, creams and lotions for bath and body.
There truly was something for everyone at The Pantiles Decorative Living Show.
We very much look forward to the next one.
