Simply Dan - The Pantiles | Royal Tunbridge Wells

Simply Dan is a UK Steely Dan tribute band, formed by musicians passionate about faithfully recreating Steely Dan’s eclectic sound. Established in 2016, the 11-piece ensemble, led by Mark Roadnight, Roger Evan, Mark Claydon, Darren Spicer and David McLeod, comprises seasoned musicians with global experience. They meticulously honour Steely Dan’s repertoire, preserving its complexity while infusing their own musical flair.

Featuring a 4-piece horn section and soulful backing vocalists, Simply Dan aims to deliver authentic renditions of Steely Dan’s timeless classics. From early hits with Walter Becker to later influences from Larry Carlton and Steve Gadd, the band offers a captivating journey through Steely Dan’s diverse catalogue, ensuring an unforgettable tribute to one of music’s most innovative groups.

There is a £5 admission fee for Live at The Pantiles (Formerly Jazz on The Pantiles), payable online. Or, on the night entry, is £7.50 in-person without restaurant reservation. This fee applies to event-only spectators and those dining in participating restaurants.

Spectators space with a pop-up bar is available and foldaway chairs are permitted if space on the evening allows.
