The Diamond Setter Shines Bright with National Award Win

29th October 2025

We’re delighted to celebrate one of our own, The Diamond Setter, an independent jeweller on The Pantiles, has been recognised on the national stage for its innovative approach to store design and customer experience.

Founded by husband-and-wife duo Gavin and Lorraine Marsh, The Diamond Setter has transformed the traditional jewellery-buying experience into something deeply personal, relaxed, and inspiring. When they opened their boutique on The Pantiles, their vision was simple yet bold: to create a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they are designing a bespoke engagement ring or discovering their very first piece of fine jewellery.

The result is a store unlike any other. Every element, from the thoughtful lighting to the carefully considered layout, was designed to create warmth and connection. The experience feels more like visiting a friend’s creative studio than stepping into a traditional jeweller’s. This unique vision has now been recognised nationally, as The Diamond Setter was named Store Design of the Year 2025 by the National Association of Jewellers (NAJ).

This award not only celebrates Gavin and Lorraine’s craftsmanship and creativity but also their dedication to making jewellery accessible and meaningful for all. Their workshop is located right here on site, where exquisite pieces are designed, crafted and brought to life. A true example of artistry within our Pantiles community.

As the festive season approaches, The Diamond Setter invites visitors to step inside their award-winning space and discover the joy of giving something truly timeless. Whether you’re searching for a signature diamond, a bespoke creation or a little sparkle to surprise someone special, every piece tells a story of love, celebration and memory.

Visit The Diamond Setter, 39-41 The Pantiles, to explore their beautiful collection and share in their celebration, perhaps even with a glass of bubbles. After all, it’s a moment well worth toasting.
