On Saturday 7th December we celebrate Small Business Saturday. On the day, the Nation is encouraged to ‘shop small’ and support local business. So, where better to do that than The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells?
In its seventh year, Small Business Saturday is the UK’s most successful small business campaign, which saw over £700million spent with small businesses across the UK last year.
A grassroots, not-for-profit campaign, Small Business Saturday was originally founded by American Express in the US in 2010. American Express remains the principal supporter of the campaign in the UK, as part of its on-going commitment to encourage consumers to shop small.

The Zero Waste Company is the first completely plastic free store in Tunbridge Well, with the aim to provide a zero waste environment for customers – offering refill stations on bulk goods, household and personal toiletries, as well as ethical vegan make-up, perfume and accessories. They work alongside a local farm to offer fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, and a zero waste florist for beautiful flowers without the cellophane. They also offer coffees, bake goods and breakfasts!
