Next weekend is officially Christmas! With this in mind, seasonal festivities are well underway in and around The Pantiles. From gorgeous gift ideas to tempting treats and Christmas markets to carolling, there’s no better place to be on the lead up to the big day.
If you’re yet to get goodies for your nearest and dearest, then don’t fret, The Pantiles’ stores, services and eateries will be open until Christmas Day. Please note that individual store opening hours may vary, so check with retailers before visiting to avoid disappointment. We’ll also be hosting our last Christmas market this coming weekend (17th and 18th December), so be sure to pay our stall holders a visit for some unique crafts and great last-minute gift ideas.
Many of our stores already have sales, offers and discounts available to shoppers – it’s the perfect time to bag a bargain! After Boxing Day, however, you can expect to see even more cut-price finds in our shops. Don’t miss out and be sure to head back to The Pantiles from Boxing Day onwards.
Despite hurdles faced by many over the past 12 months, 2022 has been another varied, interesting and positive year for The Pantiles. Our ever-popular and award-winning Jazz on The Pantiles sessions continued to keep toes tapping and voices singing throughout the summer months. We also welcomed Soul Train, regular markets and other community events.

Dee opened her studio on The Pantiles in August. Services include wedding photography, maternity shoots, newborn and children photos, Christmas scenes and much more. Dee says: “I’m truly proud and grateful to be here in my little corner of The Pantiles.”
Kumquat Café & Kitchen – a new Asian influenced café – arrived in the spring. Kumquat is owned by the Boyd family. Both Alex and Virginia have worked in hospitality for many years and provide quality food and drink with friendly, professional service.
The Pantiles is looking forward to the New Year and everything it will bring. Along with an ever-evolving retail mix, there are plenty of exciting events, sparkling shows and great giveaways lined up.
