As the days begin to grow shorter and we look ahead to the changing seasons, it is the perfect time to reflect on another fantastic summer at The Pantiles.
Over the past few months, our historic colonnade has once again come alive with a wonderful programme of events, bringing together residents, visitors, families, food lovers, collectors, music fans and businesses to celebrate everything that makes The Pantiles such a special place.
Our summer food festivals were a real highlight, attracting food lovers from near and far to enjoy an exciting selection of street food, delicious dishes and refreshing drinks.
With the terraces bustling, the aromas filling the air and the colonnade full of people enjoying time together, the festivals showcased the very best of the region’s food and drink scene. They were a fantastic reminder that great food, good company and a lively atmosphere are at the heart of The Pantiles experience.
The Horseless Carriage Exhibition brought a spectacular collection of beautiful classic and vintage vehicles to The Pantiles. With their craftsmanship, character and fascinating histories, the cars provided a wonderful attraction for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
It was a chance to admire automotive history in a truly distinctive setting, with the historic surroundings providing the perfect backdrop for these remarkable vehicles.
The Antiques & Collectables Fair offered visitors the opportunity to browse an eclectic mix of treasures, from vintage pieces and collectables to distinctive items with stories of their own.
Whether searching for a special addition to a collection, a unique gift or simply enjoying the thrill of discovering something unexpected, the fair added another layer of interest to an already vibrant summer calendar.
The Polish Cultural Festival brought a wonderful celebration of Polish heritage, music, food and community to The Pantiles.
With lively performances, cultural experiences and a welcoming atmosphere, the event offered visitors the opportunity to discover and celebrate Polish traditions. It was a brilliant example of how The Pantiles provides a space where communities can come together and share their culture with everyone.
No summer at The Pantiles would be complete without Live at The Pantiles.
The iconic bandstand once again provided the soundtrack to summer, with live music bringing people together week after week. From enjoying a drink with friends to dancing, singing along or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Thursday evenings have been filled with the sounds of summer.
It is this combination of live performances, great hospitality and the unique character of The Pantiles that makes Live at The Pantiles such a much-loved part of the town’s cultural calendar.
While summer may be drawing to a close, the events calendar at The Pantiles is showing no signs of slowing down. As we move into autumn and winter, there is plenty more to look forward to.
The autumn season will bring more opportunities to explore The Pantiles through our ghost walks, offering an atmospheric way to discover the history, stories and darker side of this remarkable part of Tunbridge Wells.
We will also welcome visitors to our general markets, offering a varied selection of traders, products and discoveries throughout the season. Whether you are looking for something different, supporting independent businesses or simply enjoying a browse, our markets remain a much-loved part of life at The Pantiles.
The festive season officially begins with the opening of The Pantiles Boutique Christmas Market from 13th November.
Set against the beautiful historic colonnade, the Christmas Market will bring together a carefully selected range of gifts, festive treats and seasonal shopping experiences, creating a wonderful destination for getting into the Christmas spirit.
